Medical disclaimer

What this site is, what it is not, and where to go instead.

Velmixa Review is a publication. It is not a medical practice, a pharmacy, or a shop. This page sets out the limits of what you should take from anything we publish.

Not medical advice

Articles here describe research and market activity. They are not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a recommendation to start, stop, or change any medication, supplement, dose, diet, or training programme. Individual circumstances differ enormously, and the same intervention can be sensible for one person and dangerous for another.

Talk to your own physician or pharmacist before acting on anything you read here, particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, over 65, managing a chronic condition, or taking prescription medication. Supplement-drug interactions are common and frequently underestimated.

Regulatory status of what we cover

Dietary supplements sold in the United States are not reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness before sale. Statements about them have not been evaluated by the FDA, and no supplement is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Some compounds we report on are sold only for laboratory research, are available solely through compounding pharmacies, or occupy a contested regulatory position. When that is the case we say so explicitly. We do not tell readers how to obtain compounds that are not approved for human use, and coverage of a compound is never an endorsement of taking it.

Emergencies

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to an emergency department. Do not wait, and do not use a website to decide.

Commercial relationships

We do not run affiliate programmes on this site and we do not accept payment for coverage. Where any commercial relationship exists, it is disclosed on the article concerned.
