Privacy policy

What we collect, what we refuse to collect, and how to get it removed.

This policy explains what Velmixa Review collects when you read the site, why, and how to make us stop. It was last updated on 6 September 2026.

What we collect

  • Server logs. Your IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, and the time. Kept 30 days, then deleted.
  • Analytics. Page views and referrer, only if you allow analytics cookies. IP addresses are truncated before storage.
  • Messages you send us. Whatever you type into the contact form, plus your name and email so we can reply.

We do not collect health information, and we ask you not to send any. If you email us medical details anyway, we delete them once your question is answered.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not run advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or data brokers on this site. We do not build profiles of readers and we do not attempt to identify you across other websites.

Legal basis and your rights

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, our basis is legitimate interest for security logging and consent for everything optional. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Under CCPA and similar US state laws you have equivalent rights to know, delete, and opt out of sale — and since we do not sell data, the last one is already the default.

Send requests to review@velmixa.com. We reply within 30 days.

Processors we use

Website hosting and a transactional email provider. Both are bound by data processing agreements and neither is permitted to use the data for their own purposes. A current list is available on request.

Children

This site is not aimed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will date the change at the top and, where the change affects data already collected, ask for consent again.
